First Round table of Project INTEGRA
Last week, Project INTEGRA organized its first Round-Table event on “Grant Scheme Management” specifically addressing the need for a unified approach of such a process. For this purpose, the Project has developed and presented a Draft Manual for Managing Grants. This Manual aims to define, streamline and standardize grant management processes in beneficiary municipalities and beyond.
The meeting brought together participants from beneficiary municipalities and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). During this event, the Project Team presented the First Draft of the Grants Management Manual to participants. Upon the presentation, participants offered their comments and suggestions which will be incorporated in the final document, to be presented during the next Round Table event. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to consult with their counterparts in municipalities, in order to provide further recommendations before the document is finalized.
The final document will be offered to all interested public institutions so they can have a harmonized approach in managing grants.
