Project Integra Midterm Conference

On June 25, 2024, in Prizren was held the Mid Term Conference of the Project: “Fostering sustainable local reintegration of women and youth returnees and local vulnerable people in Kosovo” also known as INTEGRA. It is an initiative funded through “Perspektive Heimat” or “Perspective Homeland” by German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development – BMZ.

The main objective of the INTEGRA project is the social and economic integration in the country of origin of returnees, as well as groups at risk, who will have a perspective to stay. The objective was achieved through capacity building, employment and self-employment, which enabled these individuals to generate income for their families and build their lives in Kosovo.

To fulfill this objective, PREDA Plus and WEntrepreneur, in partnership with ASB, have implemented and continue to implement project activities in cooperation with 11 municipalities. The partner municipalities in this project are: Istog, Graçanica, Prizren, Drenas, Klina, Lipjan, South Mitrovica, Vushtrria, Malisheva, Suhareka and Rahoveci.

During the Conference, the successful details realized so far within the project were presented, as well as the next steps and the ongoing program and its implementation were discussed.

The conference was attended by officials from 11 partner municipalities, representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, representatives from the Ministry of Regional Development, representatives from the Employment Agency, representatives from Regional Vocational Training Centers, collaborators, partners, and project beneficiaries.
