Last week, in the Community Engagement Centers (CEC) in Prizren, South Mitrovica, Istog, Malisheva, and Klina, the latest event dedicated to women’s reproductive health took place, with a special focus on the Perimenopause and Menopause phases, as well as on hygiene and protection from infectious diseases. Valuable information was shared about the physical and hormonal changes that occur during these life stages and the best ways to care for reproductive health. Participants learned how to recognize the early signs of menopause and how to manage the symptoms, including: Hot flashes; changes in the menstrual cycle; emotional sensitivity, etc.
Another important topic was the importance of personal hygiene and the methods to prevent infectious diseases that can affect reproductive health.
A large number of women showed great interest in this vital topic and had the opportunity to speak with the doctor about the best practices for maintaining health during these life transitions.
This meeting marked an important step in raising awareness, promoting, and informing about reproductive health and opportunities for ongoing care and protection.
