Training on strengthening skills for project proposal development and presentation related to “Establishment of 5 Community Engagement Centers (CECs)”

The Integra Project team started the implementation of the fifth component of the project, which is “Establishment of 5 Community Engagement Centers (CEC)”. CECs will serve as a safe space for women to discuss, organize seminars, social gatherings and other events to promote and support active citizenship through cooperation and interaction with the community in which returnees and groups at risk live. The application and competition process began on March 28th, 2023 with a 5-day training in the city of Struga. Participants were teams consisting of municipal officials, civil society representatives and community representatives of contesting municipalities. During the training, competing municipalities had the opportunity to present their projects and to evaluate projects of other contesting municipalities.

This component of the project will be implemented in cooperation and co-financing with municipalities.
